UNICEF: Education is Every Child’s Right

 UNICEF: Education is Every Child’s Right

Tawazon – UNICEF says that building a safe, healthy, and clean environment for every child is a shared responsibility, one that communities and global partners must take on to ensure Afghan children can grow, learn and thrive.

In a message shared on the occasion of World Children’s Day, UNICEF eemphasized that investing in children’s health and education is essential not only for their well-being but also for the future of their communities. The organization stressed that every child deserves access to healthcare, nutrition, clean water, hygiene, safety and quality learning.

“This World Childrens Day, let’s invest in children’s health”, UNICEF said, reaffirming its commitment to helping communities stay safe, healthy and hygienic. The agency emphasized that education remains every child’s right and the foundation for building their futures.

UNICEF added: “This #WorldChildrensDay, and every day, let’s make sure every child is safe, protected and heard. Investing in education is investing in the future.”

World Children’s Day is marked every year on 20 November, a day dedicated to raising global awareness about children’s rights, well-being nd urgent need to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn and grow in a secure environment.

For years, UNICEF has implemented programmes across Afghanistan in health, nutrition, clean water, hygine and child protectionand says it will continue working to ensure that every child has equal opportunities to grow and succeed.
