Trump: We Are Committed to Buying and to Take Control Gaza
Donald Trump, President of the United States has announced that he will not back down from his decision to take control of the Gaza Strip and remains committed to its occupation.
International media have reported that Donald Trump made this statement yesterday, adding that he would allow other Middle Eastern countries to rebuild parts of the devastated areas of Gaza.
“I am committed to purchasing and owning Gaza, I may give it to other Middle Eastern countries to rebuild certain parts of it,” he added.
The U.S. President emphasized that he is in talks with the leaders of Saudi Arabia and Egypt regarding the resettlement of Palestinian refugees in other countries and expects them to agree to accept Palestinians into their nations.
Since coming to power, Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that after the conflict in Gaza ends and its residents are resettled in other countries, he will take control and ownership of Gaza—statements that have sparked strong international reactions.
