Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ali Al Thani Hospital Inaugurated in Nimroz
Tawazun, Nimroz– The “Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ali Al Thani” hospital, funded with 2 million USD, has officially opened its doors in Nimroz.
This 100-bed hospital began its construction during the republican era with the personal funding of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ali Al Thani. The hospital was inaugurated on Thursday, February 7th, 2025.
The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Qatari representatives, the Taliban governor of Nimroz, Mohammad Qasim Khalid, and several other members of the group.
The opening of this hospital comes at a crucial time when the Taliban’s restrictive policies have posed serious challenges in providing healthcare services, particularly to women.
