Unemployment Surge: Man Commits Suicide in Nangarhar Due to Economic Struggles
In a tragic incident, a man has reportedly taken his own life in the provincial capital, Jalalabad, due to severe economic hardships. According to sources from Tawazon, the suicide occurred on Saturday, February 1, in the “Kacha Gari” area of Jalalabad’s fifth district.
The source did not provide further details regarding the identity of the individual or the circumstances of the suicide, but added that it was caused by unemployment and economic hardships.
This comes after another grim report from Tawazon regarding another criminal incident in Achin district of Nangarhar, where a resident of Achin reportedly bound and killed his young son.
