Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ Filming Set to Begin in Delhi”
Bollywood icon Aamir Khan is gearing up for his next venture, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. After a hiatus following his last film, ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Aamir is ready to roll cameras for his latest project in Delhi this May.
Reports suggest Aamir will head to Delhi with around 11 children to start filming ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. Details about the rest of the cast remain under wraps.
The shooting schedule spans a month, from May to June, focusing on scenes featuring the Paralympic Games. Locations include Delhi landmarks like the Red Fort and Lodhi Garden, chosen to minimize travel for the children.
Aamir introduced ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ at an event, promising an entertaining yet meaningful story, akin to his acclaimed ‘Taare Zameen Par’. The film centers on nine boys grappling with their own challenges, who come to aid Aamir’s character.
‘Taare Zameen Par’, released in 2007, was a global hit, grossing 1.35 billion rupees. ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ appears set to continue its theme of celebrating individual differences and strengths.
