Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth Reunite for ‘Vettaiyan’ After 33 Years”

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth have come together for the upcoming film ‘Vettaiyan’, marking their cinematic reunion after 33 years since ‘Hum’.

The shooting of the film is currently underway in Mumbai. Both actors expressed their joy over this collaboration, as evidenced by a warm photo shared on Instagram by Bachchan.

In the shared picture, both actors are dressed in sleek and stylish suits, sharing a warm hug. Bachchan expressed his delight in working with Rajinikanth again, describing him as “the Great Rajni” and praising his continued humility despite his immense success.

‘Vettaiyan’, previously tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 170’, brings together two of the biggest stars of Indian cinema, who last worked together in the 1991 Hindi film ‘Hum’, directed by Mukul Anand.

The film, which was a massive success in the 1990s, also featured Govinda, Anupam Kher, and other notable actors and is remembered for its iconic song ‘Jumma Chumma De De’.
