Iran allocates €10 Million for Completion of Abu Nasr Farahi Border Road
Twazon – Acting head of Iran embassy in Kabul, Alireza Bikdeli met on Tuesday, 29 April, with the Taliban acting minister of public work, Mulla Mohammad Isa Thani. Bikdeli said that Iran has allocated 10 million euros to complete of Abu Nasr e Farahi cross border.
Embassy of Iran in Kabul stated in a statement that during the meeting, both sides agreed to facilitate economy and trade cooperation based on transit and transportation infrastructure.
According to bikdeli, Iran has allocated 10 million euros to compete construction of Mahirud road (Mill 78) border crossing to Abu Nasr e Farahi port.
Bekdeli added that he has visited the construction site of this road in western Afghanistan and during his trip to Iran, the budget was allocated for completion of the road.
This port is one of the significant commercial border crossings between Afghanistan and Iran that annual a major trade portion trough this port take place between two countries.
