13 lives lost in devastating floods in Ghor
Local officials in Ghor province reported that on Friday, devastating floods swept through the region, claiming the lives of 13 individuals.
Abdul Wahid Hamas, spokesperson for the Ghor Governor, stated that the victims were from both the central areas and districts of the province.
He noted that the exact death toll has yet to be determined and may rise further as the situation evolves.
The casualties, including women, children, and men, represent a tragic loss for the community.
Meanwhile, residents in Ghor’s central area recounted how the floods engulfed villages, causing not only personal tragedies but also significant financial losses for the affected individuals.
